2nd Day of Malta Travel Itinerary: City of Mdina and Rabat Village
On a second day of your trip to Malta, you can easily interlinked Mdina City and Rabat Village. Both show a true ancient picture of Malta’s culture and its history.
City of Mdina
Mdina is a beautiful city with the history more than 4000 years ago. Apostle St. Paul lived in this city after his ship accident in 60 AD, staying inside the grotto which is known as St. Paul’s Grotto now a days.
It is a fine blend of old history and artistic architecture. While roaming in the streets of Mdina, you can feel the essence of old time and history. Mdina is a popular location shown in world’s famous season Game of Thrones. The best time to visit Mdina in November because the roads are almost pathless. It is a non-crowdy city and very few people visit there due to rough paths and streets that’s why Mdina also named as The Silent City.

Casa Bernard is another important part of Malta history. It is a palace fromed in 16th century. Its architecture is so good to see and the paintings are the true picture of its fine art.

3rd Day of Malta Travel Itinerary: Gozo and Comino
On the third day of your trip in Malta, it is not fair if you can’t go and enjoy Gozo and Comino. You can start your trip from Bugibba town which is a great attraction for visitors.
If you are adventurous than explore these two islands on your trip will be worth it. Seafaring along with the sea shore you will see the splendid nature around you. Mighty cliffs and rough rocks add pleasure in your adventure. You can pass under the impressive caves and its suitable for photographer to capture this beautiful scenery.
Blue Lagoon (Comino)
It is a place where yo feel yourself in paradise. Blue lagoon is on Comino Island. It is very crowdy and rushy in peak season but less crowdy on off-peak time. So it is better for you to go Blue Lagoon first and enjoy the beauty of this place. You can use a boat and enjoy the crystal clear blue water with magical atmosphere.

It is a glorious place to spend blissful time in Comino. It is enclosed by rocks so many people are not familiar about this place. However it is a small paradise on earth with its clear shinny water. You can reach this location by using boats. You can swim and dive in this magnificent water and also enjoy swimming internal side of caves, which is an amazing experience for you. One of it worth seeing view is “Elephant Head” sculpture made by arrangements of rock.
Xlendi (Gozo)
As the weather in Gozo is hot in summer days, you need to cool down yourself by visiting Xlendi. It has many water spots and sea views and it is best for swimming. It is enclosed by many big and small caves and cliffs.
If you don’t like swimming which is almost impossible but if so, you can enjoy in Carolina’s Cave. It has a down stair path which leads to the other end of the cliff.
